COMEDIANS AND CAROLS - Once in your very own city...

...for the 18th year, an evening of comedy, singalong carols, general joyous fun and professional hilarity. This is the original and best of this bizarrely popular festive hybrid of a comedy show and a carol service. Choose the one-man-show with Paul, or have Paul MC as guest performers take the stage, offering clean family-friendly sets (though skewed to adults - children are welcome but it's not Mr Tumble). With twists on familiar carols on the big screen, stand-up, music, magic, mince pies, mulled wine (if you provide 'em), it's become a fixture for many churches each Christmas season.

Previous guest acts have included Tim Vine, Miranda Hart, Howard Read & Little Howard, Jo Enright, Andy Kind, Tony Vino, Gareth Richards, Folk On, John Archer, Jude Simpson, James Sherwood, Wayne the Weird and dozens more... I could go on. We now tour 4 shows a week every December.

It's the perfect occasion for church folks and non-churched pagan sceptic humbug Scrooges alike, to come together for hohohos and hahahas. A typical night features clean sets from 1-4 comedians, some comedic takes on carols on the big screen... and no cringing or preachiness. It's Just Good Solid Fun, and we're simply here to entertain. At most events, the audience is 50/50 churchy folks/friends 'n' neighbours.

Mon 22nd - Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, GUILDFORD - solo show
